A dark grey Hyundai Venue photographed from the front three-quarter on open ground at dusk

Pictured: A 2020 Venue in United States specification, photographed by Hyundai from the front three-quarter and resized. The same generation was sold in South Africa, but not the same body: Hyundai's own United States specification sheet gives 159 inches long on a 99.2-inch wheelbase, which is 4 039 mm and 2 520 mm against the 3 995 mm and 2 500 mm of the car sold here. It is also the pre-facelift version, so the grille and bumpers differ from the 2024-onward derivatives this record prices, and the United States car used a 1.6-litre engine never offered in South Africa..

The figures below describe the VENUE 1.2 Premium MT. Other derivatives in this range differ.

Performance & Dimensions
Engine capacity 1.2 L
noteRecord-level figures describe the entry VENUE 1.2 Premium MT. Hyundai SA publishes no Venue specification sheet or brochure any more, so the figures are carried from a South African outlet rather than the manufacturer.

Fuel tank 45 L
notePublished at the South African launch for the 1.0T. The record's basis derivative is the 1.2, for which no separate South African tank figure was published; the tank is a body fitment and no source distinguishes the two engines.

Seats 5
noteFive-seat compact SUV. The 1.2 Premium Cargo panel-van derivative is not five-seat and carries no published figure, so its rung seats value is left null.
Doors 5
noteFive-door body.
Length 3 995 mm
noteBody dimension, unchanged across the South African life of this generation. Hyundai South Africa publishes nothing for the Venue any more and Hyundai Motor India has moved its site to the successor, so this is carried from the South African launch specification with a manufacturer cross-check.
Width 1 770 mm
noteBody dimension. Two independent readings agree: the South African launch specification, and Hyundai's own arithmetic about the outgoing car.
Height 1 617 mm
noteBody dimension. Two independent readings agree, as for width.
Wheelbase 2 500 mm
noteBody dimension. ONE source only: the South African launch specification. Hyundai gives no arithmetic for wheelbase, and the all-new car is 2 520 mm, so the manufacturer cross-check that settles width and height does not reach this field.

Warranty 5 years
noteHyundai South Africa's standard structure is a 5-year/150 000 km vehicle warranty plus a 7-year/200 000 km powertrain warranty. An earlier cars.co.za Venue article (19 Nov 2021) prints "7 years / 200 000 km" as the headline warranty, which conflates the two; the record carries the vehicle warranty.
